BACKGROUND
World of John Williams is a symphonic concert of music by
one of the most recognised Hollywood composer John
Williams.
To be performed by the Eminence Symphony Orchestra and the
Eminence Symphonic Choir and led by conductors Phillip Chu
and Daniel Smith this performance will demonstrate the
beauty
and power of orchestral musical performances.
John Williams having composed musical pieces for many
Hollywood
movies, many of which you would recognise should be an
instant
household name. No stranger to success, John Williams has
won a massive list of awards that include over 41 Oscars
nominations
(five wins), twenty-odd Gold and Platinum Records, many
Emmy
nominations (two wins), Golden Globe (three wins), Grammy
(18 wins), National Board of Review (including a Career
Achievement
Award), Saturn (six wins), and BAFTA (seven wins)
citations,
along with honorary doctorate degrees numbering in the
teens,
John Williams is undoubtedly one of the most respected
composers
for Cinema.
This will undoubtedly be the best performance for the
Eminence
