get off at townhall station, walk in teh direction towards the Galeries Building.
Vearing on your right, head up to level 2, above the freedom shop
Its on the highest level where you'd see no more esclators

Hey there,
Kinokuniya is on the third floor of the Galeries Victoria, diagonally opposite the Sydney Town Hall in the CBD. Its that white-ish building on the corner that looks pretty new and modern and is opposite both the QVB and Woolworths.
As for train stations, you can get off at town hall station and walk towards one end of the station where theres a fork through to QVB and the Galeries Victoria. Otherwise, you can go above ground and look for it there. If you go through station into the Galeries Victoria, go up the escalators on your right as you approach the basement food court and after you're up, turn left and follow the escalators up to the top floor.
You'll reach Kino for sure (as it's the only thing on the top floor aside from Ichiban Boshi). If you're there to purchase PS4 tickets (which I really really hope you are  ) walk straight in and enquire at the front desk.
