| Do you think eminence or Play would be better. Play is official -ish but eminence has a history. |

Sydney Symphony are doing it so I just thought maybe whoever was organising would be like. Some huge business music person. maybe a huge company. coz its quite large sclae considering its a world tour and by all these major orchestras. But most of those people are like. Would they even know what the music is about i'm wondering? Most of the musicians would be like. old and not know about anime/games. =S
Yeh. I don't know very much about it so please excuse any ignorant comments i make |

| I've worked with Eminence for a very long time. Would be interesting to see how Play! goes. |

i was telling so many people about eminence and nobody even knew about us!
its amazing how much tv and radio advertising really reaches the target audience. |

Thats the power of advertisements. We still do get a lot of people who know about us. And Im not sure if its JUST how we go about with our promotional material OR...something else.... |

I attended the sat afternoon (23rd June) performance of Play!. There were no guest composers (Yamaoka Akira apparently performed during the weekday sessions, though).
It wasn't hard to tell why. Two adjectives come to mind: soulless and chaotic. Okay, three: passionless. We (friends and I) won't be going back. 7/10, maybe, because 'Dancing Mad' was ambitious.
ANIF07 in Sydney was 10/10. Unique playlist brought to life rather than simply 'play(!)ed'.Two awesome encores. Standing ovation. And a slew of composers present and happily so: the ultimate in approval, no?
Eminence is the juicy steak where others are overcooked meatloaf.
And from some of the looks on the faces around us in the Opera House Concert Hall, I don't think we were the only ones present to know Eminence. |

Finally got some competition in the game music arena ay?
Let's hope they don't do it too often or eminence will be left in the dust
Think about it Opera House vs Townhall... hmmm I wonder which is better |

| well venue wise of course opera house, the acoustic architecture is designed to create as much resonance as possible. but the chairs in Opera house are pretty crappy. I never liked them. |

Think about it $129 for no guests or $69 for world renown music composers... hmmm I wonder which is better? |
