Those of you who have been supporting Eminence for a while now will note our recent change from general reserve seating to specific seat allocations.

I'd just like to know, did any of you prefer one over the other, and for what reasons?

Allocated seating is better... a little slower, but you get what you deserve - buy buying tickets earlier. Smile

General Reserve is not so good, because you have some unscrupulous individuals who like to break rules and it's harder to control if you have multiple open areas.

And besides, General Reserve makes people push all the more because they want to get in first to get the best seats in the house and it's annoying to everyone. Evil or Very Mad

Ditto that, what if i didnt have any friends to mind my seat and suddenly i had to go and take a break. Whether it'd be for a packet of cigarette or the bathroom.

Someone will take my seat! Evil or Very Mad

I'll give you a taser when you come down for Melbourne's SAE.

But yeah, general reserve can be chaotic. Seating allocations makes it more fair for people.

Decision making huh O.o

I rather get allocated seats so then I know when I spend money on my seat before the event I know I'm getting what I want.

Did concerts still run late when there was General Reserve?

Hmm ... yes just thinking of what someone had said before, about people coming in early to get good seats on general reserve versus people just rocking up five minutes before the concert starts since they know they have seats already.

But, if it all has the same problem ...
